Shook some rust off last night in the basement after a stretch where we focused more on original projects (http://thebandcalderisi.com) post-COVID. In true Diver fashion, we hacked through "Centerfield" from John Fogerty upon seeing the news of Willie Mays' passing.
It's not exactly Diver, but everyone involved has performed with Diver at one time or another, and you're gonna recognize the cover tunes for sure. Close enough. See you there?
SATURDAY!! Come see THE BAND CALDERISI at the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival. 6pm on the Belmont stage, playing originals from both TBC and Andrew Fraker & Sons, along with a bunch of covers to fill out the (90 minute) set. Weather should be beautiful, hope to see you there!
Next Saturday in Chicago, I'll be playing drums with THE BAND CALDERISI at North Center Ribfest, playing songs from The Band Calderisi, Andrew Fraker & Sons, *and* a few covers from the @divertheband songbook. We hit at 2:30pm. It's gonna be fun! Hope to see you there!
